Get Involved NOW to Help Save Lives in HAITI
• GTAH continues its long standing partnerships with Kids Explore, Universal Aid Society, and The Luisa Messon Foundation. team up with World Care, United African Congress (UAC), Earth Rights Institute (ERI), to mobilize resources and assist Haiti to cope with present circumstances and eventually to rebuild the peoples lives and country. GTAH provided volunteers to the Consulate of Haiti in the first days of the crisis and continues to do so in order to assist with moving volunteer Health Care professionals into Haiti and DR.

 

• GTAH and partners to launch a 40 member medical mission on 18 March to Bon Repos, Haiti- The Mission will be maintained for several months, rotating personnel periodically. This 18 March mission will include the famous Dr. Patch Adams from the Gesundheit Foundation.
Greater Washington Haiti Coordinating Committee team up with GTAH and partners- transport doctors into Haiti utilizing the publicized "John Travolta & Kelly Preston" relief missions flying his own Boeing 707 with doctors and tons of food and supplies to Port-au-Prince. ...see video
GTAH Help Facilitate Travel for 14 Member Volunteer Medical Team into Haiti- consisting of doctors and professional health care providers from the Bedford Stuyvesant Volunteer Ambulance Corp (BSVAC) into Haiti to work at the General Hospital in Port Au Prince.
GTAH and partners send a team of doctors from Canada to Jimani, Dominican Republic- on the border of Haiti to assist doctors there treating hundreds of injured Haitians crossing the border for help. VOLUNTEER
DONATE GOODS & SERVICES
GTAH Facilitated donation of a Mobile MaxPure® to the Peace Mission in Bon Repos, Haiti- (MMP) is a standalone solar-powered fresh water purification system with the capacity to pump and purify an average of 30,000 gallons each day. Delivered to Peace Mission in Bon Repos, Haiti to serve the community and the several thousands of refugees who have moved there to get away from the rubble in Port-au-Prince. The Mobile MaxPure® is powered by solar panels and is also capable of desalinating an average of 3,000 gallons of sea water each day.
 
Designed to be transported by air, water or truck, the Mobile MaxPure® MMP can make it to any site and can be running using only the power of the sun- even on cloudy days- to produce much needed energy and water pumping/ purification in the wake of a disaster.

Give Them A Hand Foundation (GTAH) functions as an informal partnership initiative, bringing together members of the United Nations Diplomatic community, United Nations Departments and Agencies, Non-Governmental-Organizations, the Private Sector and Corporations to assist the less privileged communities around the worlds to escape the clutches of extreme poverty, poor health and lack of education. GTAH considers the United Nations Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) to be an important blueprint for improving the quality of life of the millions of people around who have very little and exist on next to nothing. GTAH's mission is to bring about the realization of the objectives of MDG's to as many people as it can emphasis on the Caribbean, Central America and Africa.
